A Los Angeles toddler was found unresponsive while napping at a residence near Rinaldi Street and Wilbur Avenue. The child's father reportedly made a disturbing statement to paramedics about his concern that the child may have ingested fentanyl. The boy was taken to a hospital in a "grave" condition but later died. Police are investigating whether drug paraphernalia was used in the home, which also contained evidence of drug use. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner is currently conducting lab tests to determine the exact cause of death.
