FBI Director, Kash Patel, has announced that the bureau will be making arrests related to the 2020 presidential election, despite President Donald Trump's claims that the election was rigged. The announcement comes a year after Patel took office and follows an indictment of former Director, Jim Comey, for allegedly making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. The case was dismissed in November 2025. Despite this, Patel indicated that more arrests are imminent.
