Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated that investigators believe they know why Nancy Guthrie's home was targeted and do not rule out the possibility of another kidnapping. Nanos also expressed hope that mixed DNA found at her home could help identify someone else. The sheriff's department is investigating whether a WiFi jammer was used during a reported internet outage around the time of Nancy Guthri's disappearance, which disrupted nearby home surveillance cameras. The family of Nancy, 84, is offering $1 million for information leading to her "recovery". No significant breakthroughs have been reported in the search for her mother.
