The order was signed by Undersecretary of Management Jason Evans and instructed the embassies to report their security practices to Washington as soon as possible. The department's “No Double Standard Policy” states that important security information must be made available to private citizens. The State Department confirmed that every embassy conducted Emergency Action Committees (EACs) prior to the military strikes against Iran. An Iran-aligned militia group fired drones and rockets at the US Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, with no injuries or serious damage.
