Despite significant medical advances, many cancers remain difficult or nearly impossible to cure, due to a combination of factors such as early spread and lack of curative treatments. Breast cancer, particularly in particular, can return after an apparent cure, even after decades. Other cancers that are frequently incurable include pancreatic cancer, a type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme, liver cancer, and esophageal cancer. Despite these challenges, improvements have been made in the treatment of some of these cancers, with 30% to 50% of people with this condition living more than five years. For sneezing due to allergic rhinitis, antihistamines are often the first-line treatment, while anti-inflammatory drugs like naproxen may help.
