Songwriters Hall of Famer Jack Tempchin embraces AI on his new albums: ‘The people in “the band” are not real.’

Jack Tempchin, a 2019 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, has released two new studio albums and contributed seven songs to the San Diego-based new movie, "Swami's Vibe." The two albums, "The Magic Mirror" and "All Kinds of Love," feature nine and eight songs each written by Tempchin. All of these are made up entirely by the AI music creation platform app, Suno, which he used to create the records. Tempchin is the first established musician to release two Suno-generated albums and concurrently release a half-century-old archival solo acoustic live album.
