NASA 'rules out' chance that asteroid will hit the moon in 2032

Asteroid 2024 YR4, which had a 4% chance of hitting the moon in 2032, will pass by from a distance on Dec. 22, 2032. New data has narrowed the potential path for the asteroid, which the European Space Agency has described as "the most dangerous asteroid discovered in the last 20 years". The James Webb Space Telescope provided additional data to create these updates.
