A strong 5.3 Magnitude earthquake has shaken Egypt, causing significant damage and injuries. The USGS National Earthquake Information Centre reports that the earthquake occurred shortly after 3AM local time, with an epicenter 41 kilometres North East of Suez. There are currently no reports of damage or injuries.
