The Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) has confirmed that the man shot and killed by Chicago police was in a vehicle wanted in connection to a shooting on the Eisenhower Expressway. The car was spotted in the Humboldt Park neighborhood and police followed it through an alley before it crashed into a CTA bus. The driver was shot and taken to a hospital, where he died. Two officers were also injured in the incident.
