The inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic will determine whether NFL players are better than flag football athletes at the level of competition. The competition includes three 12-player teams: Team Founders, Team Wildcats, and the reigning IFAF Flag Football World Champion U.S. Men’s National Team. Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts are the captains of Team Founders. Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow are captains on Team Wildcats. The event, originally scheduled for Saudi Arabia, was moved to Los Angeles due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. The Fanatics flag football Classic could be a precursor to the 2028 Olympic flag football competition.
