Lincoln yard waste separation required starting April 1

Starting April 1, Lincoln garbage collectors will collect grass and leaves (yard waste) separately from household trash. State law requires that yard waste be separated from other household waste from April 1 to Nov. 30. If found mixed with yard waste, the collector may charge additional fees.
