Autism expert, Fort Wayne native to give lecture on comorbidities

Dr. Christopher McDougle, an internationally renowned autism expert and researcher, is set to give a lecture at the University of St. Francis and Concordia High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The lecture will be held at both institutions and will be open to the general public. During the lectures, McDougled will discuss the common medical and psychiatric comorbidities associated with autism, including sleep disturbance, gastrointestinal problems, seizures, autoimmune and immune-related disorders. He also plans to discuss how autism is diagnosed and how each person with autism may experience differently from others. The public is encouraged to ask questions about autism.
