The ‘Hawaii of Europe’ is getting loads more flights from the UK

The Portuguese island of Madeira, known as the 'Hawaii of Europe', is receiving an 11 percent increase in flights from London to the island this summer, with easyJet and Jet2 adding an extra departure on Mondays from Luton. Additional flights from Bristol will also be available. This means that there are 55 flights per week from the UK, with routes from Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Jersey, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, and Newcastle. Despite the island's recent increase in fees, there are several festivals worth booking flights for over the summer.
