Sister of Influencer Mara Flávia Speaks Out After She Dies at Age 38 in Triathlon Drowning Incident

Influencer Mara Flávia Araújo, who had over 60,000 followers on Instagram and was known for sharing fitness content, died at the age of 38 from a triathlon accident in The Woodlands, Texas. Her sister, Melissa, publicly acknowledged her death in a public statement on April 20. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department opened an investigation and ordered an autopsy conducted by the Montgomery County Medical Examiner. The Ironman Texas competition also confirmed the drowning incident.
