New Rochelle Wellness Expo Draws 350 For Free Screenings, Health Resources

The free Community Wellness Expo held at the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle on March 21, attracted over 350 people. The event was presented by Westchester County and Greater Hudson Valley The Links, Inc. It was part of a national wellness initiative led by The Links. The expo was designed to improve health awareness and access to essential services by removing barriers to care. Services included vision, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, mammograms, CPR demonstrations and health education workshops. The club's CEO, Becky Mazzanobile, stated that the expo demonstrated the potential for collaboration among local groups to improve community health outcomes and increase access to trusted resources.
