Many projects, including 10 of which were supposed to open in 2025, have not yet opened. The state’s Department of Health Care Services stated that while some project timelines have shifted slightly due to permitting, site conditions, and construction pressures, including supply-chain strain from President Trump's tariffs, construction remains largely on track. The slow rollout comes as California continues to expand its broader plan to address the state's homelessness crisis.
