FWC: Father killed, son injured after being ejected from dinghy in boating hit-and-run in Biscayne Bay

A boating accident has resulted in the death of a man and injury to his son, who were ejected from a dinghy in Biscayne Bay. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) responded to the scene at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The victims were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where the father was pronounced dead. The incident is under investigation by FWC. The vessel involved is believed to be a dark blue boat, possibly traveling northbound in the Meloy Channel.
