Ronald Nelson, founder and owner of Next Step Family of Products LLC, suggests a concept for redevelopment of Burke International Airport in Cleveland that could replace the cultural and tourism value of the air show with a permanent cultural, ecological, and educational lakefront district inspired by the World's Fair and other projects like the Eden Project. The concept could create a $76.6 million annual economic footprint, with large glass biomes themed around Great Lakes ecology, global climate zones, sustainability and green‑tech innovation and indigenous ecological knowledge.
