Legal Aid appoints Lynn K. Neuner to chair of the Board of Directors

High-profile trial lawyer Lynn K. Neuner has been appointed as the chair of the Legal Aid Society’s Board of Directors, succeeding Zachary Carter who served as New York City Corporation Counsel for five years before.Neuner, a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, is known for her extensive public service and pro bono work. She also serves on the Lawyers’ Committee of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund and the Practicing Law Institute.
