Bakersfield police and other agencies conducted an enforcement operation on Casa Loma, targeting unauthorized street vendors. The operation is tied to $15,000 in losses. A man died after being hit by a car on 24th Street, possibly by multiple vehicles. Road and freeway closures are expected to occur on the morning of March 2.
