Cuba's second power cut in a week leaves 10 million in darkness

Cuba's national electrical grid collapsed for the second time in a week, leaving more than 10 million people in need of power. The country's energy ministry announced that a total disconnection occurred, and protocols are already being implemented for restoration. International socialist groups have arrived in Havana to support the Cuban government, bringing in donations of solar panels, basic food kits, and medicines. Protests were held in central Havana and the town of Morón, where they also occurred. The Cuban president has stated that the island has a plan to increase its readiness for defence against any US military aggression.
