The San Diego Reader, a popular alt-weekly newspaper, will return to print in this week's issues of the Peninsula Beacon, Downtown News and Uptown News. The publication had its 52-year print run ended just over a year ago, but its ownership has kept it alive as an online publication. The return of the publication will be accompanied by a new arts and entertainment-focused insert, which will be featured in the community papers.
