Researchers from UCLA's UCLA Luskin School are set to reveal attitudes about Los Angeles County's quality of life, following their annual survey. The annual Quality of Life Index (QLI) measures satisfaction across nine major categories, including cost of living and public safety. The findings will be revealed at the 2026 Luskins Summit, a data-driven conversation on California's most pressing issues and a brainstorm session on how to solve them. The QLI's results can be surprising, with transportation being the least important factor for quality of live in 2015 being the most important factor. Registration is now open for the event, which carries the theme of "Building Power Through Local Solutions" for 2026.
