West Idaho man sentenced to 25 Years for possession of AI-generated child porn

James Anthony Halma, a 27-year-old man from West Idaho, has been sentenced to up to 25 years in prison for possession of AI-generated child pornography. The case was investigated by the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children task force after a "CyberTip" led investigators to a Kik account flagged for containing child pornography and a search for Halma's residence and devices. The illicit images depicted the sexual abuse of children ranging in age from 16 to 3 years old.
