A gunman in Shreveport, Louisiana, opened fire on three homes, killing eight people, including eight children. The suspect was shot and killed after attempting to carjack a vehicle in an attempt to escape. The victims were identified as adult women and some of the children were believed to be his. The motive for the shooting has not yet been disclosed.
