North Carolina mother accused of strangling, seriously injuring disabled 5-year-old son

A North Carolina woman, 36-year-old Jasmine Nicole Parker, has been arrested for allegedly attacking her disabled son, who was five years old when the incident occurred. She is charged with three counts of child abuse, assault by strangulation, and aggravated assault on a person with a disability. An arrest warrant was issued on April 7 and she was taken into custody on Tuesday.
