The Los Angeles Kings defeated the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in overtime, moving them into the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Adrian Kempe and Anton Forsberg scored in regulation and Forsberg made 23 saves. The win was only the second in seven games for the Kings. Robert Thomas and Jordan Binnington scored for the Blues, who have not won in four consecutive games against the Kings respectively.
