Some Durham residents have reported that their homes have been hit-and-run targets for years, with some blaming a yield sign, an 8-way intersection, confusing traffic lights, and reckless driving. Jacqueline Smith's home was hit by the car just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, causing structural damage including the gas line, roofing, flooring, electrical damage, and personal projects. The residents hope for changes to the intersection, which now sits separated by a temporary fence.
