Soderberggh has previously been working with AI on an upcoming documentary about John Lennon and Yoko Ono, using genAI programs to create dreamlike imagery that evokes their subject's philosophical musings. He also mentioned that he is also using AI for an upcoming film about the Spanish-American War.
