Archaeologists from the University of Haifa in Israel have discovered a 2,000-year-old ancient projectile in which it reads, "Learn your lesson." The projectile was found during an excavation at the Southern Necropolis of Antiochia Hippos, an ancient city of the Holy Land. It is unclear which battle it was used in, but it possibly felled a warrior when Roman forces attempted to invade the city. The inscription was unlike any other found before and could have implications for the future battles in which Hippos was involved. The projectile, cast in two parts, was found along a Roman road that reinforced an older Greek path from the Hellenistic period.
