The team's last game was against No. 4 UConn, who had a 15-point lead at halftime and limited St. John’s to only 14 points in the second half. The Red Storm responded with a 32-point victory over Villanova, shooting 52 percent from the field, 53 percent from three-point range and out-rebounding 40-26 in the process. The tournament is set to begin with the First Four games on March 17.
