A Batavia woman, 38-year-old Emily Koeppe, has died following a motorcycle crash in Stonelick Township, Ohio, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on US Route 50, near milepost 8, and involved a 2013 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight motorcycle being driven by Koepp, who overturned in the roadway on a curve. Koeppel sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby landing zone to be airlifted to UC Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead prior to the hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
