Clark County agrees to $7.5 million settlement after deputy shot, killed Vancouver officer

Clark County, Washington, has agreed to pay the widow of Officer Donald Sahota $7.5 million after he was mistakenly shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy. Sahota was off-duty when the incident occurred and was stabbed while confronting the real suspect, Julio Segura, who was convicted of murder in 2000. The settlement was unanimously approved by the county council.
