NASA ambassador explains Artemis II launch

NASA's Artemis II, a mission to take us one step closer to putting man back on the moon, has begun with a 10-day journey around the moon as a test flight. The last time humans landed on the Moon was in December 1972, and anyone born after that date has only seen the human space program operate in Earth orbit. The mission is expected to take place on Monday. The Artemis II crew is currently orbiting Earth and will spend the next few days making sure the spacecraft is ready for the journey.
