Oscars Viewers Slam Show for Cutting Off ‘Golden’ Writers’ Speeches After Historic Win: ‘So Disrespectful’

The Oscars has been criticized for interrupting the "Golden" songwriting team's speeches after their historic win for best original song. The songwriters, EJAE, Park Hong Jun, Yu-Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam, 24 and Mark Sonnenblick, were ushered off the stage before the Oscars orchestra played over them. Fans have defended the decision, calling it "so disrespectful" and "an incredible honor." Despite their limited time on stage being disrupted, EjAE's speech was one of the night's most moving moments.
