Micah McFadden, a former linebacker for the New York Giants, has revealed that his injury-shortened season ended prematurely due to a foot injury that required him to rest and undergoes rehabilitation. McFadden signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with a maximum of $5.25 million. He credits the Giants' experience with helping to identify potential in his pre-injury film and winning a starting job for the team. Despite losing four other members of McFadden's 2022 draft class during free agency, McFadden expressed interest in re-signing. He plans to return to a different linebacker corps from the one he started 35 games in since 2022.
