A new study has found that the pregnancy vaccine reduces baby hospital admissions for RSV by 80% and nearly 85% when given at least four weeks before the birth. The virus, which affects many babies in their early years, can leave them gasping for breath and struggling to feed. The vaccine was discovered in the aftermath of a cold as a baby that led to brain damage.
