The shortened legislative session ended in a flurry of policy changes, including efforts to lure the Chicago Bears to the state and increase cooperation with federal immigration officials. The bills were approved on a wide range of topics, including immigration, and child abuse. The winner and loser of the upcoming election will be decided on the basis of these reforms.
