'Aggressive' Great White Feasting On Sea Lion Near Sunset Beach, Prompts Beach Closure

The 9- to 10-foot-long shark was spotted near Sunset Beach, California, causing a beach closure. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. local time. The beach will be closed for 48 hours and the Vans Jack's Surfboard Pro competition will continue for 24 hours. This is not the first time this has occurred near the shoreline.
