Comedy icon Joan Rivers once believed that her New York apartment was haunted by the niece of financier J.P. Morgan, who died in the building years before, was unimpressed by the spirit. She enlisted a voodoo priestess named Sallie Ann Glassman to remove the spirit from the apartment, using a form of ceremonial magic that involved a banishing sword and a lot of screaming. The pair were able to live peacefully together despite the supernatural presence.
