The Half Moon in Putney, London, is set to reopen after a significant revamp following temporarily closing for refurbishment. The venue, which has hosted artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, and The Small Faces, has been a fixture since 1903 and began hosting live music in 1963. The revamp involved extending the first floor to include a new terrace with a retractable roof and spiral staircase, and new equipment that would enable the owners to serve a wider range of food. The move was approved by Wandsworth Council in 2023 and aims to revitalise the public house and increase its popularity and customer base. No specific date has been given for the relaunch.
