Alexandra Morris, a woman from Kenilworth, is advocating for increased awareness of endometriosis after she had to fight to be diagnosed. After undergoing three major surgeries, she now hosts a podcast, "Its Not Just a Period", where she interviews women who have had similar experiences. She believes that women living with the condition are not believed and dismissed at GP's and hospital appointments. According to Endochend, one in 10 people in the UK have the condition, but it is more likely one in 7 for those who do not realise it.
