A 45-year-old San Jose man, Alfredo Chavez, has been arrested for allegedly shooting at someone two weeks ago. The incident occurred on the same day as witnesses reported a man throwing a gun into the air. Police found a loaded firearm and ammunition at the scene, which was prohibited from possessing by a previous felony conviction. Additionally, Chavez was booked on multiple firearm-related charges, including assault on a person with a firearm and willful discharge of a firearm.
