The 5th Annual Food Business Conference in Kansas City is underway, offering free workshops and resources for food entrepreneurs looking to start or grow a business. The two-day event also includes a new pitch contest and networking opportunities with established food business owners. Jackie Nguyen, owner and founder of Café Cà Phê, served as the keynote speaker on day one of the Food Biz Con. She previously attended the conference as an aspiring entrepreneur and highlighted the challenges of business ownership during Women’s History Month. The conference, which is free, allows participants to learn about free resources in the city.
